For the first time in 46 years, the Vodafone New Zealand Music Awards (VNZMAs) is hitting the road, bringing the magic of this major music event to the regions.

This year Wellington and Christchurch music lovers get a taste of the action, with a live Finalists Showcase on September 16, 2010 at the Wellington Town Hall and September 17, 2010 at the James Hay Theatre in Christchurch. The show will consist of live performances by three of this year’s VNZMA finalists, with the line-up set to be announced on September 1, 2010. Tickets are $25 plus applicable booking fees available through Ticketek.

Anyone who books a ticket before September 1 also goes in the draw to win a VNZMA Ultimate Auckland Experience prize package for two – including flights with Pacific Blue, two nights at the Langham Hotel, VIP tickets to the Awards including limo transfers, an Auckland Zoo ZOOM Tour, a $100 voucher for Orbit Restaurant SkyCity and an Auckland Bridge Climb or Bungy Jump.
