We have a selection of three feature models from SPR Limited this month. All are new releases from its 1:43 Spark range, and include a red/ white 1971 Lotus Elan S4 Sprint drop-head coupé (Spark #S1240); the green/ yellow #20 Lotus Elan 26R GT fastback from 1964 (Spark #S0269); and the gold/ green Walker Racing #74 Lotus 26R raced by Tommy Weber at Crystal Palace in 1964 (Spark #S0267).

Spark models are essentially hand-assembled, injection-moulded resin kits, with numerous photo-etched steel components for fine detailing. And all three of these Elan models are beautifully detailed with tiny photo-etched boot hinges and wipers, tubular metal exhausts and extremely thin plastic sheet for windows. This month, by answering the following question, you have a chance to win the high quality 1:43 model of the 1964 #74 Lotus 26R raced at Crystal Palace. But this month our question is not about the car, as normal, but about the wealthy, jet-setting, celebrity driver, Thomas Evelyn ‘Tommy’ Weber (originally Thomas Ejnar Arkner, born in Denmark).
