There are eight protected New Zealand Sea Turtles currently calling Kelly Tarlton’s home; all have come into the aquarium in recent months as part of the Turtle Rehabilitation programme run under the Kelly Tarlton’s Marine Wildlife Trust. The sick turtles have since been nursed back to health, and are living in the Oceanarium at Kelly Tarlton’s until the conditions are ideal to release the turtles back into the wild.
